League Story

Blood Sweat & Beers began in 2013 as a scrappy fantasy football league and somehow turned into a 13-season saga of improbable champions, heartbreaking losses, ridiculous point totals, and rivalries that have outlasted multiple NFL eras.

The league survived a 2015 hiatus, and came roaring back — just in time to witness the rise of Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffrey, the end of the Patriots dynasty, Tom Brady changing teams, a global pandemic, and an ever-growing collection of Sundays where a single garbage-time touchdown could decide someone's entire season.

Our own history has been every bit as chaotic. Managers have won championships with mediocre regular-season records, watched league-leading point totals go unrewarded, lost games by mere hundredths of a point, and occasionally turned a perfectly respectable fantasy matchup into a 400-point slugfest. Through it all, a handful of managers have become perennial contenders, new champions have emerged, and nobody has quite managed to build the kind of dynasty that makes everyone else give up.

This archive preserves that history — from the inaugural 2013 season through the back-to-back championship era of 2024–25 — along with the NFL and fantasy storylines that made each season what it was.

What You Can Explore

Dive into season recaps, standings, playoff brackets, awards, and week-by-week matchups. Compare managers across eras, follow championship runs and near-misses, and see which teams consistently scored big — and which somehow managed to score big and still lose.

The record book tracks all-time highs and lows, scoring records, streaks, margins of victory, award totals, and the league's most absurd statistical achievements. Manager pages follow career arcs, championship history, roster moves, draft performance, transaction timelines, and even all of your degenerate cash flow.

And because fantasy football doesn't exist in a vacuum, every season connects the league's story to the bigger NFL narrative — from Manning's historic 2013 season and the Legion of Boom, through Brady's comeback, Mahomes' arrival, COVID football, the rise of Lamar and CMC, and the increasingly bizarre NFL landscape of the 2020s.

In short: 13 seasons of wins, losses, rivalries, ridiculous scores, improbable champions, and receipts that were never supposed to survive this long.
