2013 Season

The league's inaugural season arrived at the perfect moment for fantasy football. The NFL was in the middle of an offensive explosion, and nobody embodied it more dramatically than Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning's second season in Denver after a near career-ending neck injury became one of the greatest quarterback seasons ever: 5,477 passing yards and an NFL-record 55 touchdowns. The Broncos became an offensive juggernaut, while Seattle's Legion of Boom established itself as the antidote to the league's increasingly pass-heavy attack.

The fantasy numbers reflected the madness. Manning finished as the league's top scorer in our league with 419.98 points, while Josh Gordon's extraordinary breakout, Jamaal Charles' receiving production, and the emergence of young stars such as Eddie Lacy and Le'Veon Bell previewed the next phase of fantasy football.

And then there was our league.

With only four teams represented in inaugural season, the first championship went to Lynna Nguyen and Lynna's Legit Team, with Kevin Lee's Erotic Fantasy King finishing second. Lynna also led the league in scoring with 1,982.36 points, narrowly ahead of Kevin's 1,938.36 and Kyle's 1,909.70.

The league's beginnings were humble at just four teams, but set the tone for the intensity of competition, and endless shit talking that persists to this day.
