2021 Season

2021 was the year Owen transitioned from 'curse-breaker' to 'dynasty-builder,' securing back-to-back championships with 'The Sillinannies.' While the NFL was watching Cooper Kupp record the greatest receiving season in modern history, Owen was busy collecting his second ring. Spencer’s 'Big Nick Energy' reached the final for the first time in nearly a decade, but he was ultimately outclassed by Owen’s depth. Alex and Harley rounded out the top four, with Harley’s 48 moves keeping her consistently in the mix even when her draft picks failed her.

Jack followed up his 68-move frenzy with a more 'restrained' 40 moves, finishing 6th. It seems Jack has found a comfortable middle ground between 'stable' and 'maniacal.' amosa remained the league's most mysterious manager, finishing 7th with only 11 moves—proving that he either has incredible foresight or just doesn't check the app on Thursdays. Historically, this was the arrival of Ja'Marr Chase, whose rookie season blew the roof off the league and made anyone who doubted his preseason 'drops' look like a fool.

The finals were a relatively decisive victory for Owen, who has now firmly established himself as the league's final boss. Spencer's 2nd place finish was a huge improvement, but the 'Big Nick Energy' couldn't quite overcome the 'Sillinannies' machine. 2021 marked the first 17-game season, and for many managers, it was just one extra week of realizing that their rosters were desperately missing a Cooper Kupp-level superstar.
