2022 Season

In 2022, Alex and 'Eks Gone Give it to Ya' finally broke the Owen dynasty in spectacular fashion. Alex didn't just win the trophy; he committed a league-wide homicide, posting an incredible 2192 total points. Riding the wheels of Austin Ekeler, Alex dominated both the regular season and the playoffs, leaving the rest of us fighting for second. Kyle and 'Better Mahomes and Gardens' secured that 2nd place spot, a nice return to form for the 2014 champ, while Owen settled for 3rd and missed out on his dreamt-of three-peat.

Peter and 'Sneak and Destroy' were on the receiving end of the league's most brutal statistical anomaly, finishing 8th despite having the highest 'Points Against' at 2144. Peter essentially played against everyone's best game of the year, a phenomenon we've dubbed the 'Peter Paradox.' Tiffanie also made a splash with 36 moves and a 6th place finish, proving that she can hang with the high-activity veterans. On the other end, Lyndsey finished 7th with a mere 7 moves—the league's most efficient (or perhaps passive) performance of the year.

The championship was a complete blowout as Alex’s roster was simply too deep and too fast for Kyle to keep up with. Historically, this was the year Josh Jacobs emerged from a 'bust' candidate to the league's top RB, providing immense value to whoever took a chance on him in the mid-rounds. Alex's victory was a emphatic statement: the Sillinannies era is over, and the era of 'Eks' has begun.
