2024 Season

By 2024, the NFL had unmistakably entered a new era. Patrick Mahomes was still the standard at quarterback, Lamar Jackson was producing video-game numbers, and Josh Allen remained at the center of the AFC's new power structure. Lamar Jackson, who was redefining what a fantasy quarterback could be, was the league's top individual scorer with 471.38 points.

Saquon Barkley left the Giants for Philadelphia and finally found the kind of environment fantasy managers had envisioned for years, pulling off a backward hurdle that topped highlight reels across the season. Derrick Henry joined the Ravens and somehow remained Derrick Henry. The NFL also felt increasingly young. Jayden Daniels arrived in Washington and immediately became one of the league's most exciting players. A rookie tight end named Brock Bowers immediately looked like a star. Bijan Robinson finally produced the monster season people had been waiting for.

And so did the league champion, who had been waiting a long time for this moment.

Spencer's Bijan and the Jettas won the 2024 championship. The 2024 season was a clinical study in how to fail upward, and nobody did it better than Spencer. Managing 'Bijan and the Jettas' to a sub-.500 regular season record of 6-8, and navigating the post-season like he had an advance-copy of the NFL script.

He didn't have the league's best record. He didn't even have the second-best record. He didn't even have the fourth-best record. But Spencer scored 2,239.54 points, the highest total in the league — and finally converted that production into a long-overdue championship.

Owen’s 'The Sillinannies' had a flawless A+ draft grade and was the highest regular season scorer at 2196 PF, yet he once again walked away with a 3rd place trophy—proving that even in 2024, the Sillinannies curse is alive and well. Harley meanwhile racked up a league-high 35 moves only to finish 7th, a testament to her dedication to roster churn regardless of results.

The year produced a ridiculous Week 16 playoff semi-final shootout between Spencer and Alex — 430.34 combined points, with Spencer winning 230.48–199.86 and advancing to the championship game with momentum. It also produced one of the league's closest ever matchups: Spencer beating Harley's Baking with Barkley by 0.52 points.

After eleven seasons of tortured competition and coming up short, going 0-3 in championship game appearances, Spencer finally won a title.
